Travel Operating Room Technician - Blue Grass, IA

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour days per week
• Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am
• On-call: One day per week and every fourth weekend

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, execution, and monitoring of orthopedic and robotic surgeries in a dynamic OR environment
• Adhere to strict surgical protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold sterile procedures throughout each case
• Respond efficiently to intraoperative emergencies and unanticipated events

Qualifications:

• Current nursing license, in good standing, with relevant ORT experience
• Proficiency in orthopedic and robotic surgery support strongly preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
