Certified Surg Tech Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures at an outpatient surgical facility in Burlington, WI. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow. This opportunity primarily supports cases at Lakeland and Southern Lakes with potential coverage at Burlington Hospital. The case mix includes general, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Vascular procedures, with pediatric ENT cases comprising a small portion of volume.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current CST certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in an OR setting.
• Experience with general, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Vascular cases.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to perform aseptic surgical techniques and operate various surgical equipment.
• Willingness to float to other sites as required (Southern Lakes and Lakeland).
• Ability to meet on-call and weekend scheduling requirements, including a 30-minute response time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with pediatric patients in ENT procedures (preferred).
• Prior experience in outpatient surgical centers or mixed inpatient/outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with Pyxis and Alaris systems (preferred).

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0645-1515.
• Will float to two other sites as scheduled: Southern Lakes and Lakeland.
• Orientation: 13 shifts based on comfort.
• On-call expectations: On-call RN and CST schedule includes every 6th weekend (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) and one night per week with a 30-minute response time.
