This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate diagnostic testing by delivering high-quality specimen collection and exceptional patient care. As a floater, youll support multiple locations, helping maintain continuity of care and a positive patient experience across the region.
What You'll Do
Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Verify patient information, ensure proper labeling, and obtain patient signatures post-collection
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards
Travel to multiple patient service centers, in-office locations, or client sites as needed
Deliver excellent customer service while creating a safe, professional, and supportive environment
Follow all safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to travel, work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
Ability to meet compliance requirements
