Surg Tech CVOR Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Manhasset, NY. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team. This assignment is at a hospital-level I trauma center and involves quaternary care cardiac cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from NBSTSA or NCCT (required).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a certified CVOR technologist, with at least 1 year current cardiac scrub experience.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma or quaternary care hospital environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional perioperative certifications or specialized cardiac surgical training preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:0020:30.
• May consider alternative start times such as 06:0019:30, 11:0019:00, or 4 days/week schedules as needed.
• Position requires current cardiac scrub experience and functioning within a cardiac surgical team.
