Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting a busy surgical department, working as an integral part of a diverse and expert team, with exposure to a wide variety of case types and surgical specialties. This contract opportunity requires an experienced professional who is ready to make an immediate impact in the Operating Room. Schedule: Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) Every other weekend coverage required Call schedule: Variable; details will be provided during the interview Key Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience required before considering travel contracts Proficient in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics Experience in service lines that include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics Accepts both non-certified and certified Surgical Techs, as well as Nursing ORT professionals Open to first-time travelers and local candidates Ability to float within the facility and to Outpatient departments as needed, within your scope of practice Must complete full compliance requirements prior to start; orientation occurs bi-weekly Role Responsibilities: Support surgeons and the OR team during a range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques at all times Assist with patient positioning, supplies, and OR turnover between cases Respond efficiently to the demands of a sensitive, fast-paced unit Additional Details: Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted during assignment All candidates undergo a clinical review and interview to ensure the best fit for the role This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills in a high-demand, multi-specialty environment.
