Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment and contribute your expertise across a range of specialty services, including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. This role requires a highly skilled professional committed to delivering safe patient care in a fast-paced operating room setting. Schedule/Hours: Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00) Every other weekend required Variable on-call responsibilities (details discussed during interview) Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of recent Operating Room experience prior to travel Proficiency in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures Experience as an ORT, Surgical Tech (Certified or Non-certified) Open to first-time travelers meeting all experience requirements Willingness to float within the facility and outpatient settings as needed Ability to pass clinical screening for fit and compliance Responsibilities: Assist surgeons throughout procedures in a variety of operative specialties Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields Support the surgical team with efficient turnover and setup for diverse case types Participate in ongoing patient care within your scope of practice Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards in perioperative care Flexibility to adjust to the demands of a multi-specialty operating room and float as needed Additional Details: Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed Full compliance is required for a timely start; delays in compliance may affect orientation timing Locals are welcome to apply If you are confident in your clinical skills and meet the specified operating room experience, this surgical tech opportunity provides a platform to grow and build your professional credentials. to be considered for this rewarding contract role!
