Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment offering valuable experience across a diverse range of service lines, including bariatrics, urology, neurology, ENT, oral, plastics, transplant, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedics. This contract role is suited for professionals adept in both certified and non-certified surgical technology or perioperative nursing, who are ready to contribute to a high-acuity setting. Schedule/Hours: Day Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00) Every other weekend coverage required Call schedule varies; will be discussed during interview Floating: Expect to support within facility/scope of practice and outpatient as needed Minimum Requirements: At least 4 years of operating room experience prior to travel Demonstrated clinical expertise in neurology, transplant, general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedic surgical procedures Experience with first-time travel assignments is welcomed Successful clinical screening process required Full compliance with pre-employment requirements necessary to maintain orientation timeline Locals are encouraged to apply Key Responsibilities: Scrub and assist during a variety of surgical procedures across multiple service lines Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure best patient outcomes Flexibly float within facility and support outpatient care as needed Maintain highest standards of sterile technique, patient safety, and clinical documentation Participate in variable call rotation and weekend shifts as directed Monitor and communicate supply needs and ensure optimal OR readiness Uphold compliance with all facility policies and procedures Benefits: Exposure to advanced, specialized surgical procedures Opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative surgical team Be part of a facility that values up-to-date clinical skills and continuing education Take the next step in your perioperative or surgical technologist career by applying now.
