Required Skills: Certified Surgical Technologist or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with certification/license current and in good standing. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Proficiency in scrubbing in at least three different surgical specialties, including but not limited to Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, or similar fields. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterile field maintenance, and surgical instruments. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to various operating room settings. Excellent patient care skills, sensitivity, and professionalism. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with complex surgeries such as Transplants, Robotics, or Neuro surgeries. Familiarity with surgical supply management and preference card updates. Ability to float among multiple locations seamlessly. Knowledge of sterilization and decontamination procedures. Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program. Minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience preferred. Certification as a Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel to various facility locations as needed. On-call availability is required. Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Valid certifications/licenses and compliance with all safety protocols and hospital policies.
