Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in a related field as required by the client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty as applicable to the state of assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing general chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, and microbiology testing preferred.
• Experience with routine maintenance, quality control procedures, and documentation in a hospital laboratory setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working 3x12-hour shifts in an acute care hospital environment preferred.
• Experience performing phlebotomy and reception duties preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour shifts weekly.
• Shift schedule: Evenings.
