How youll make an impact in this role
  • Maintain a state of procedural excellence by meticulously preparing the operating room, ensuring all instruments, sterile fields, and high-tech equipment are immediately ready for every surgical case.
  • Support the surgical team directly by skillfully anticipating and passing required instrumentation, facilitating a seamless, efficient procedural flow that contributes to successful surgical outcomes.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient protection by rigorously following sterile technique, meticulously managing supplies, and accurately monitoring instrument counts throughout the procedure.
  • Ensure patient well-being and safety by assisting the team with critical tasks such as patient positioning, transport, draping, and providing support to the surgeon for wound closure and hemostasis.
What minimum requirements youll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
