Job Overview:
The Certified Surgical Technologist functions under the direct supervision of the Director Surgical Services or a Perioperative Registered Nurse. Responsible for giving direct and indirect patient care within the area of assignment pursuant to established standards of care of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. Demonstrates knowledge of patient population specific to that department. (Patient population is defined in each department's Scope of Practice.) Must be able to return to hospital within 30 minutes if on call.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of Surgical Technology preferred with current certification required.
