Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in Nursing - Operating Room Technology (ORT) required
• Proven experience assisting in operating rooms, including preparation and support during surgical procedures
• Strong understanding of surgical equipment, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to professionalism and adherence to facility policies regarding conduct and attendance

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating room, instruments, and equipment prior to surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and other clinical staff as needed during operations
• Maintain sterility and ensure all equipment functions properly throughout procedures
• Document activities and accurately update patient records as required
• Uphold strict safety standards and contribute to a safe, clean working environment
• Support post-operative care and room turnover between cases
