Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (Blood Bank) Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, schedule may vary) Position Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist specializing in Blood Bank for a 13-week assignment. This role involves performing complex laboratory testing and analysis to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform blood bank testing, including compatibility testing and antibody identification Conduct specimen analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ensure proper operation and calibration of laboratory equipment Follow established laboratory protocols, safety standards, and quality controls Document and report test results in a timely manner Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Blood Bank or relevant specialty Active certification from one of the following: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and standards Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting Additional Information: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Only Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) are not eligible for this role For more details reach at ...
