Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Required certification: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the Clinical Laboratory specialty.
• Facility will only consider Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist. Medical Laboratory Technician will not be considered.
• BLS certification when required by client or state.
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a clinic laboratory setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 4x10.
• Schedule example provided by client: 8:30 PM7:00 AM (varies).
• Candidate must be willing to work nights.
• Client indicates no local candidates within 50 miles; relocation or travel may be required.
