This is a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room opportunity supporting a hybrid CVOR/cath lab team in a well-established surgical environment. Assignment Details

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Schedule: 4x10s | Day Shift | Rotating call required

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 13-week contract

Start Date: May 12, 2026

EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular and hybrid cath lab surgical procedures, ensuring sterile field maintenance and efficient OR flow

Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies for complex CVOR cases

Support surgeons and OR teams during open-heart, vascular, and cardiac-related procedures

Respond to intraoperative needs while participating in rotating call coverage

Requirements

Active Colorado Surgical Technologist license (DORA) REQUIRED

Certification through NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT required

Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience

Strong CVOR experience required BLS certification (AHA) required

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Must meet 75+ mile travel radius requirement

Must submit resume and CVOR skills checklist with application
