Scrub Technician Jobs in Texas
A Scrub Technician, also known as a Surgical Technologist, is an integral part of the healthcare industry, specifically within the operating room. Scrub Technicians typically need a postsecondary nondegree award or associate's degree in surgical technology. They should hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or a Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing. Prior to becoming a Scrub Technician, individuals might have roles such as a Phlebotomist, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant.
