Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate and timely analysis of patient samples, ensuring high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.

Prepare and process specimens for analysis, adhering to established protocols.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Record and analyze test results, identifying any abnormalities or discrepancies.

Communicate test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals promptly.

Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records and documentation.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members to improve laboratory processes and patient care.
Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (for MLT); Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field (for MT).

Certification by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT).

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic health records.
