Description What Youll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests, including but not limited to, hematology, immunology, and chemistry, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Interpreting results accurately, youll troubleshoot discrepancies and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Provide support in specimen collection and the preparation of samples for analysis when needed.
• Thoroughly document all methods and procedures, assist in training newer staff or students, and strive to uphold rigorous laboratory standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be earned within your first year of employment.
• Ensure maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
