Role Responsibilities What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established standards.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Keep detailed documentation of all processes, mentor new personnel or students, and uphold the highest standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
