Description What Youll Be Doing

• Conduct both standard and specialized laboratory testssuch as chemistry, hematology, and immunologystrictly following established procedures.
• Interpret results accurately, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and appropriately prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, mentor new team members or students, and maintain high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workplace, and comply with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire is required.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
