Description Your Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy by analyzing findings, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and maintaining and calibrating lab instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, contribute to training of new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
