Description What You Will Contribute

• Conduct both standard and advanced clinical lab tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to scientifically established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, participate in the training of new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Foster a safe and sanitary work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree while preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment with us.
