What Youll Be Doing

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunohematology
• Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, and labeling to maintain sample integrity
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of laboratory instrumentation with precision
• Evaluate and verify test results using both manual techniques and automated systems
• Communicate critical results to physicians and care teams clearly and promptly
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance activities
• Contribute to a positive work environment by collaborating with peers, nursing staff, and physicians
• Provide mentoring to MLT students and support onboarding of new team members

Education Requirements

• Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program

Certifications

• Certified or eligible for certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent)
• Must obtain certification within 1 year of employment if not currently certified
