Job Description
Join our team as a specialized Surgical Technologist in the Pediatric Operating Room (PEDS OR), where you will assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures on infants and children.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the pediatric operating room by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments.
- Assist surgeons during pediatric procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating surgical needs.
- Monitor and document patient information throughout procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Support the surgical team in the care and comfort of pediatric patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain and restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- The role is based in hospital pediatric operating rooms or surgical centers equipped for pediatric procedures.
- This position requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work with children in high-stress situations.
