Surgical Technologist, Lexington/Needham OR ($10k sign-on)

Department Summary:
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the team within our Satellite Operating Room This position will start in BCH Lexington and transition to BCH Needham upon completion of the ambulatory care building (anticipated to open early 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing sterile instruments to surgical team during surgery.
• Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
• Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
• Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
• Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• High School Diploma / GED preferred.
• Completed an accredited educational program for surgical technologists, typically earned by attending a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program preferred

Experience:

• 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology; certification must be obtained within 12 months of graduation if not already certified at time of hire, OR individuals employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, OR completion of a surgical technology training program through the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or U.S. Public Health Service

**Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time, 40 hour per week hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years). **
