Laboratory Technician

Pay Range: $22 - $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Shifts: Second Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM Third Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Responsible for leading research, conducting trials/experiments, gathering data and reporting findings on assignments/projects that are moderately complex
• Performs a variety of duties requiring the application of technical knowledge using established processes/protocols
• Independently plans, prioritizes, and executes work making basic technical decisions independently
• Often responsible for training and/or coaching other permanent or temp employees.
• Collect and analyze samples to help with the plant's cleaning extension project
• Work in the blending lab testing product against specification and follow up QA when product is out of specification
• Provide support to operations in respect to laboratory testing
• Position will work both in the laboratory(handling chemical and glassware) and the plant floor(loud noisy environment, hot temperatures, etc.)
• Occasional Weekend work required

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Lab experience
  Sample testing
  Sample collection
• High school diploma or equivalent required. technical certification or post-graduate training preferred
