Medical Laboratory Technician - HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY

The MLT will provide quality clinical information by accurately performing laboratory test and procedures. It may range from waived point of care testing to moderately complex testing involving areas of the hematology and chemistry. The MLT has diverse functions in areas of pre-analytical and post-analytical processes. In addition, the MLT has responsibilities relating to information processing, and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures, monitoring quality control measuring and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: California Medical Laboratory Technician License Or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California Or
• 2 years General Laboratory and Specialty Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or related science.
