Description

• Performs medical laboratory testing on patient samples.
• Performs routine and complex technical procedures and functions in the laboratory information system in an adequate and timely manner; may include phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, reporting, and storage
• Will perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing of patient samples
• Will be doing machine calibration and troubleshooting
• Perform documentation and follow appropriate regulations
• Will occasionally talk with parents to deliver test results

Skills & Qualifications

• Associates in MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology OR Bachelors in MLS (Medical Lab Science)
• Regular Science Degrees need to have 1 year of lab experience
• Bench laboratory experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable doing phlebotomy on children (majority of their patients)
• Do NOT need an ASCP certification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.86 - $32.86/hr.
