As a Quality Laboratory Technician, youll play a key role in ensuring that both raw materials and production mixes meet strict quality specifications. Your work will directly influence product performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success.
What Youll Do- Perform incoming and in-process testing on raw materials and production mixes to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collect samples from the production floor and conduct detailed laboratory analysis
- Execute a wide range of tests, including tensile, viscosity, pH, dimensional, hardness, humidity, sieve, freezer, and acetone testing
- Monitor lab equipment and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of results
- Compile and analyze data, clearly documenting results and identifying any issues or trends
- Communicate findings to quality leadership and production teams to drive quick, effective decisions
- Assist with quality audits, investigations, and non-conforming material reports
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to continuously improve product quality
- Work independently to manage daily testing priorities and support production timelines
- Contribute ideas that enhance lab efficiency, testing accuracy, and overall quality performance
- 25 years of hands-on quality or laboratory testing experience
- Strong experience with physical testing methods (tensile, dimensional, hardness, etc.)
- Familiarity with viscosity, pH, sieve, and environmental testing
- Proficiency in Excel and Word for data tracking and reporting
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple testing tasks
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accurate, high-quality work
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and escalate issues when needed
- Willingness to work overtime when production demands require it

Youll spend most of your time in the quality lab, with regular interaction on the production floor to collect samples and support testing. This is a first-shift role (6:30 AM 3:00 PM, MondayFriday) with opportunities for overtime.
The environment is industrial and hands-onideal for someone who is comfortable moving between a controlled lab setting and a more rugged production space.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
