Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in a related field as required by the client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty as applicable to the state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience with chemistry testing platforms preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with 10-hour rotating night schedules and every-other-weekend coverage preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic laboratory information systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 21:0007:30.
• 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
• Night shift assignment.
