Join a hospital in Cincinnati, OH as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and vascular system.

What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • ARRT certification required (per client).
  • RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
  • Minimum experience in cardiac interventional cath. Candidate must have experience scrubbing for procedures.
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, pacemaker implants, watchman procedures, atrial and ventricular ablations, TEEs, and PE thrombectomies preferred.
  • Vocational/Technical degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • BLS required. ACLS preferred.
  • State licensure in Ohio required. Candidate must obtain and provide OH license.
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages, monitor ECG, operate and maintain complex electrical equipment, and work in a radiologically safe environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and participate in on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCI RCIS certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospital cath lab setting with Philips imaging equipment preferred.
  • Experience assisting with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Hours: 10-hour shifts (call required; specifics to be discussed during interview with the facility manager).
  • Facility has 2 cardiac interventional rooms, 2 EP interventional rooms, and 1 hybrid room for endovascular procedures.
  • Main imaging equipment across rooms is Philips.
  • Typical procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath (including CTO and high-risk cases), pacemaker implants (including leadless), Watchman, atrial and ventricular ablations, tilt tests, TEEs, and PE thrombectomies.
