Travel Allied - OR Tech (Surgical Tech)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel Certified OR Tech

Shift : Variable Days / 7a-3:30p / 7a-7:30p, 8s/12s, 40 hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Oncall: 5-6 call shifts including overnight and weekends
Weekends: on-call day and overnight
Holiday: call only if it falls with contract time frame

Requirements:

• Must be registered
• 2+ years experience
• Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho and Robotics experience a must
• Must complete an accredited surgical technology education program and or have worked as a surg tech prior to 07/01/2012
• Currently hold NBSTSA
• AHA BLS
• CST

Other Details:

• Common types of cases: Ortho (Total joints, Sports & Medicine, Fractures) Neuro (Spine and Cranial procedures [cranis, tumor resections, brain biopsies, no need for clipping] familiar with navigation Stealth) Maxillofacial , ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic, Breast
• # suites 11 suites# of cases per day 25-35
• EMR- EPIC
• Scrubs provided by hospital
• Floor specific orientation- 1 week ( 2 weeks for night shift)
