Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. (HEW or NCCLS acceptable as listed by client.)
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty as applicable to the state.
• 3-5+ years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist experience required per client notes.
• Ability to perform testing and rotate through all areas of the laboratory including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis.
• Experience with instruments including BC DXH, Sysmex NX-550, Siemens Dimension EXL, Roche Cobas 302 & 403, and ACL 2500.
• Experience with MedHost LIS preferred.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience performing testing across multiple laboratory sections without requiring float to other facilities, per client note.

Assignment Details

• Shift days: Friday through Monday.
• Shift hours: 0600 - 1430.
• No floating required to other facilities per client notes.
• Scrub color required: Black.
