Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Provide full-time clinical support assisting physicians and cath lab personnel with diagnostic tests and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture data of the heart and vascular system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
• ARRT (R) Certified Radiologic Technologist required. If ARRT (R) is not held, candidate must obtain Colorado fluoroscopy license prior to practice; obtaining this license may take about one week.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting with solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Must be able to meet a 30-minute call response time.
• Must be willing to float within the department and to nearby zone facilities if extreme need arises.
• Valid drivers license required; radius requirement up to 60 miles for onboarding related needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter cases.
• Prior experience working in hybrid labs, EP, or multiple-suite cath lab environments.
• Familiarity with scrub, monitor and circulating roles across a high-volume cath/EP/hybrid practice.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1700.
• Schedule structure: 4x10 hour shifts.
• Call requirements: weeknight call 1-2 times per week; weekend call 2 per 6-week pay cycle; holiday call required.
• Typical case volume: 1020 cases per day across 2 cath, 2 EP, and 1 hybrid suite.
• Orientation: unit-specific orientation required. Please be in-state for orientation week even if some modules are remote. Orientation hours: 12.
• Clinicians may be scheduled to float within the department; limited zone floating only if extreme need.
• Call response time expectation: 30 minutes.
