Travel Operating Room Technician - Sparks, Nevada

Schedule & Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts starting at 6:30 AM
• On-call duties required

Required Skills & Experience:

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and NBSTSA credential
• Valid BLS certification
• High school diploma required
• A minimum of three years experience in an operating room setting
• Proven proficiency in diverse specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Neuro/Crani/Spine, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular, and Robotic procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Residence requirement: Must live at least 100 miles from Sparks, NV

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare for surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons and the OR team
• Assist during operative procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage sterilization processes for surgical instruments and assemble both scheduled and emergency case carts
• Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety standards
