Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Experience:
36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
34 months of Endoscopy experience.
Travel experience is required.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:Strong scope reprocessing skills required.Role requires either SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy, or required to be a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) with 3 years Endoscopy experience.Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI Lab.Must be accustomed to high level disinfection of procedural equipment.Colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, Enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:Olympus processor CV-190, Olympus Light Source CLV-190, Olympus scopes 190s, CO2 insufflator, CO2 tanks with regulator, Erbe cautery with electrosurgical unit, Erbe, Olympus OER Pro, and HLD scope reprocessing preferred.Epic and ProVation experience preferred.Back table set up and room set experience preferred.
Required Credentials:Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Preferred Credentials:ST program completion preferred.MA preferred.
Special Requests:RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details:This position is at a stand-alone endoscopy center.Outpatient clinic setting with assembly/wrap and aseptic technique; case cart and crash cart used.Performs upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, and X-track.Adult patient population; patients with ASA 1, 2, & 3.Daily procedures: 34-36 with 3 Gastroenterologists.
Shift & Scheduling:Mon-Fri.No weekends, holidays, or on-call.
5 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
