Required Skills/Experience:Orthopedic and trauma experience required.

Unit Details:Common cases include endoscopies, cataracts, hernia repairs, laparoscopic cases, ORIFs, total joints, arthroscopies, and C-sections.
Shift & Scheduling:Travelers are assigned a schedule by the manager; permanent staff self-schedule, and travelers are expected to fill gaps in the core staff schedule.Shift starts between 7 AM and 7:30 AM.Weeknight call is typically 1 day every 2 weeks.Weekend call is 1 weekend per month, end of shift Friday through Monday.Holiday call is rare and travelers may be asked to join the holiday rotation.Call response time is 30 minutes.
Required Credentials:Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Previous Employment Requirements:Previous employees may be considered only as one-off exceptions with approval by St. Lukes Health System.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Drivers license required for submission
Certifications:
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
