Description: The Sterile Processing Tech position is in the Central Processing Unit. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing, with experience in Trauma Level 1 settings. Candidates must possess national certifications such as BLS, CBSPD, or IAHCSMM. Experience with robotic and ultrasound procedures is required. The position involves handling various medical instruments and sterilizing them according to established protocols. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work with surgical trays, scopes, and orthopedic instruments is essential. Candidates will need to maintain productivity expectations, which include processing a designated number of trays per shift. Experience with EPIC charting and instrument tracking systems is required. This role does not include opportunities for first-time travelers.
