As a Pient Care Technician (PCT) US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and deleged activities of trement to pients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for pients with renal failure.

Wh you'll be doing

Pient care. You will work directly with pients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis trement. Responsibilities include ghering pient sts before and after trement, initiing trement, monitoring pients during trement, termining trement, and collecting pient blood samples per physician orders.

Technician Duties. You will ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis trements, cleaning and disinfecting machines after trement, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulions are followed.

Safety and Quality. You will use approprie safety measures, including personal protective equipment. Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ste/federal laws and regulions. You will participe in all required staff meetings and continuing educion offerings.

Wh we're looking for
  • High school gradue or equivalent.
  • Desire to work in healthcare and care for pients.
  • Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbone according to protocol.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Other requirements

  • Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstred competency; this includes successful completion of USRC training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis within 8 weeks of hire.
  • CPR certificion required within 90 days of hire or as required by the ste.
  • Pient Care Technician certificion must be obtained through a ste certificion program or nional commercially available certificion program within 18 months of hire de and maintained in good standing thereafter. Specific ste requirements may be applicable and required.
