Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)

Starting pay is $20.05 /hr. and up, based on years of experience!

Referral Bonus- employees will receive $5k for referring a FT Paramedic or $2.5k for a PT Paramedic (terms and conditions apply*)

Were hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) th will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, trement, and customer service to pients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of pients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services by utilizing approprie medical techniques and equipment.
• Document pient informion, condition, and trement while maintaining confidentiality and pient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for pients.
• Use approprie skills to provide care including communicions, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• EMTs opere an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws reled to the operion of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaborively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

MinimumRequired Qualificions:

• Must be least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ste Drivers License
• NY Ste EMT certificion
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials
• CPR/BLS certificion
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare is preferred
