Sentara Gastroenterology Specialists Norfolk are hiring an Endoscopy Technician !
Position Status : Full-time, Swing Shift (Shifts vary from 07001530 or 0700-1700 MondayFriday, with evening and weekend call responsibilities))
Position Location : Norfolk, VA
Overview
Assists with the patient care in the Endoscopy Department. Is familiar with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assists during endoscopic procedures. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies. Functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Experience
- Related Experience 2 years
- Patient Care Experience 2 years
