This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Performs direct pient care; electrocardiograms (ECG's); stress testing; and cardiac monitors.
Responsibilities:
Reviews provider's orders and performs ancillary tests. Educes pient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure pient's understanding and cooperion. Performs responsibilities of underlying job(s) and is able to assist precept new hires and/or student interns.
Prepares equipment and supplies, positions pient and analyzes results. Identifies issues with quality of tracings, including re-positioning pient and repeing procedure.
Monitors pient condition and reports on or responds to changes in stus and adverse results as approprie.
Maintains equipment in clean, working condition. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take approprie action.

Requirements:
- Cert Cardiographic Tech
- Certified EKG Technician
- Nional Certified ECG Technician (NCET)
- Certified EKG Technician
- High School diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/ Certificion: Certified as a Cardiographic Technician (CCT) by Cardiovascular Credentialing Internional (CCI), OR certified as a (Certified EKG Technician) (CET) by Nional Health Career Associion (NHA) OR certified as (Certified EKG Technician) (CEKG) by Nional Workforce Career Associion (NWCA) OR certified as a (EKG Technician Certificion) (ETC) by American Medical Certificion Associion (AMCA) or Nional Certified ECG Technician (NCET) through Nional Center for Competency Testing within 1 year of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Relevant life support certificion as determined position level
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Associion or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start de. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
