Responsibilities:

Assess each call situion to determine the best course of action while working with progressive paramedic protocols.

Utilize your paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillors, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

Communice with pients and loved ones to provide informion and assurance th care is being given.

Act as paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.

Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

Work collaborively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as your fellow paramedics.

Participe in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relions.

Minimum Required Qualificions:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Ste Paramedic License

Ste Drivers License

BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic

Driving record compliant with company policy

Pass Physical Agility Test

Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Other Qualificions:

Must be able to successfully pass the Physical Agility Test
Aptitudes required for work of this nure are good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition th would not be adversely affected by frequently having to walk, stand, lift, carry, and balance times.
Must be able to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and other objects.
