Emergency Department Technician Michigan, Fenton New Technical McLaren Flint 26002910 Requisition # Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job Alerts Department: Fenton Emergency Room Shift: Days Daily Work Times: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 72 Pay Range: $17.60 - $21.30 Position Summary: Responsible for providing basic nursing care and specific nursing functions within the Emergency Department under the direction of the registered nurse. ERTs will complete basic arrhythmia class for ERTs with a minimum score of 80% on the written test within two attempts. In addition, they must satisfactorily complete the competency testing for IV and urinary catheter placement. Required: Possess high school diploma or equivalent. Possess BCLS certification. Possess licensure as Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic. Possess minimum of six months Emergency Department, Emergency Medical Technician, or paramedic experience.
