Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join a hospital in Knoxville, TN as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of start.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR).
• Willingness to accept one night of call per week and every third weekend on call.
• Must be available for major holiday coverage as required by the assignment (example: July 4th weekend).
• Candidates must be greater than 50 miles from the facility at time of submission.
• Scrub color requirement: hospital-laundered Malibu Blue scrubs. May wear a white non-fleece jacket if desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:00 16:30.
• Call requirement: one night per week and every third weekend on call.
• Block scheduling is not available; scheduling will aim to provide some long weekends.
