Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

High School completion required.

Requirements:

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:- Previous experience in hospital or clinic operating room preferred.

Unit Details:- Assembles, cleans, disinfects, sterilizes, stores, and rechecks procedure trays, surgical trays, instruments, and equipment; packages clean supplies and maintains instrument records and tracking, including labeling processes, engraver use, and documenting missing instruments and implant replacements.- Assembles, distributes, and delivers disposable and durable medical equipment, case carts, and supplies for the operating room, nursing units, ancillary departments, and clinics.- Operates and monitors sterilization equipment; disassembles carts and performs decontamination using universal precautions.- Communicates equipment and instrument inventory status, order status, and back orders with central processing staff and the surgery charge nurse.- Responds to emergency, trauma, and add-on cases by ensuring supplies are properly delivered to the operating room in a timely manner.- Provides on-the-job training to newly hired associates in the department.

Shift & Scheduling:- Mon-Fri.- May be required to work overtime based on business need.- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Floating Requirements:- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician (HSPA)) or the alternative certification CASSPT

BLS (Basic Life Support)
