Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Experience:
36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:- Experience with decontamination of items, including drills, DaVinci, and scopes.- Experience with assembly of instruments across service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging.- Experience with sterilization processes, including Sterrad and steam.- HLD/scope experience.- Sterile storage experience.- OR liaison experience.- Censitrac tracking system experience.- Medivator experience.- Requires experienced travelers who have worked in a facility similar to OSU.- First-time travelers with minimum 3 years of experience.- Teaching Hospital Experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Core tech and customer service experience preferred.- Trauma Level I Experience
Required Credentials:- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:- Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
Unit Details:- Adult patient population.- Responsible for preparing, sterilizing, installing, assembling, and cleaning equipment for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures.- Packages and delivers sterilized medical supplies and instrumentation aseptically.- Serves as a clinical liaison between the Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the enterprise.- Responsible for procuring and standardizing instrument trays across the enterprise.- May be utilized 24/7 across multiple reprocessing sites, including Ross Heart Hospital, University Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, Same Day Surgery, East, and ambulatory sites.
Shift & Scheduling:- Mon-Fri and occasional scheduled holidays.
Floating Requirements:- Floating may be required between OSU locations.
