This is an excellent opportunity to work in a comprehensive lab environment within a reputable 110-bed hospital, offering a variety of testing services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, and more. What You'll Bring: Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures across multiple disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, and blood bank. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), with an associate's or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field. Proficiency in phlebotomy and experience supporting microbiology and chemistry testing. Ability to work efficiently in day and evening shifts, including every third weekend for day shift and every other weekend for evening shift. Commitment to maintaining safety standards, including minimal jewelry and adhering to dress code policies. Preferred Skills & Extras: Microbiology lead tech and chemistry lead tech experience for MLS candidates. Cross-training experience on night shifts to support flexible staffing needs. Experience working in a hospital with diverse units such as ICU, OB, ER, and Surgery, performing a wide range of laboratory tests. Educational & Experience Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related discipline. Valid certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred. Prior hospital laboratory experience highly desirable. Additional Requirements: Must provide proof of certifications, licenses, and any required reimbursements for travel or licensure. Willingness to assist with night shift coverage when needed. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and accuracy.
