Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join a hospital team in Winston-Salem, NC as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while enjoying the experience of a new location. Provide assistance to physicians and Cath lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture critical cardiovascular data.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab environments, including diagnostic catheterizations and interventional catheterizations.
• Skills with procedures such as cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), IABP placement/removal, and pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) monitoring.
• Medication administration knowledge including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, emergency medications, thrombolytics, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
• IV therapy skills including blood product administration, IV infusion pumps, and starting IVs.
• Professional competencies: 12-lead EKG interpretation, activated clotting time (ACT), cardioversion, dysrhythmia recognition/management, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and malignant hyperthermia protocols.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State-specific licensing when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Experience with circulator roles in procedural cases.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 06:45 - 15:15.
• Schedule: 5x8.
• Work setting includes Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs.
