Location: Elgin, IL
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: MondayFriday, hours vary between 6:00am8:00pm; every other Saturday 7:00am2:00pm

As a float Phlebotomist, you play a key role in ensuring operational flexibility and continuity across multiple locations. Your experience and adaptability help maintain high standards of patient care and specimen integrity wherever youre needed.

What You'll Do
Travel to multiple sites to provide phlebotomy coverage based on business needs
Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patients presence
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and required records
Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients at all assigned locations

What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Prior experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel frequently between sites
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to meet compliance requirements
